Service Enhancements: Changes to NHS Jobs this September

This month...

We've been working hard to bring you updates to the current NHS Jobs service and since the start of September we have introduced a number of changes.

The first change is to the columns in reports for 'Recruited' data. These have been re-labelled as 'Appointed' to ensure that the terminology used is consistent with other areas of the site, making both reporting and use of the service more streamlined.

An improvement has also been made to help ensure postcodes can be recognised if they are entered in an invalid format to save users time, and the site has been updated to provide jobseekers with links to 'Health Careers'.

Last month we also talked about changes coming to integrate with the NHS Step into Health programme. The 'Application Download Interface' specifications have now been updated to include the recently added additional application form question “Are you a member of the Armed Forces community?”, which we believe has been a welcomed move for NHS organisations signed up to the Step Into Health programme.
