Patient questionnaires in Wales – a toolkit for dental teams
Dental patients in Wales are being randomly selected to complete a questionnaire. Responses will be used to evaluate patient experience.
From April 2022, patients who have recently visited a dental practice in Wales might be randomly selected to take part in a questionnaire.
The questionnaire will be relevant to the type of treatment the patient has received and responses will be used by the Welsh Government and Public Health Wales to evaluate patient experience.
The NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) will contact selected patients on behalf of the Welsh Government. Patients do not need to do anything unless they are contacted.
The NHSBSA has produced a communications toolkit to help dental teams in Wales communicate the importance of patient questionnaires.
The toolkit includes communication materials in English and Welsh.
