NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) has released its latest data via the Medicines Used in Mental Health report, covering April to June 2021.

NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) has been named number one out of 136 organisations that took part in the enei (employers network for equality and inclusion) TIDE benchmarking. It is also one of 12 organisations to achieve the gold award.

From 1 September 2021, any time a patient makes a declaration that they are entitled to free or reduced cost NHS prescriptions, the pharmacy must ask them to sign the prescription token or FP10 form and to produce evidence.   

From 1 September2021, any time a patient makes a declaration that they are entitled to free or reduced cost NHS ophthalmic services, the ophthalmic team must ask them to complete and sign a GOS declaration form and to produce evidence.   

From 1 September 2021, any time a patient makes a declaration that they are entitled to free or reduced cost NHS dental treatment, the dental practice must ask them to complete and sign a declaration form (FP17PR) before any treatment begins, and to produce evidence. 

General Ophthalmic Service (GOS) contractors operating in England must submit their annual GOS complaints return before 11:59pm next Friday, 3 September 2021.
