NHS Jobs future service update: The first pilot vacancies are live

We’ve had a busy month on the NHS Jobs project.

We’ve on-boarded ten private beta pilot partners and we’ve advertised three vacancies on the new service, which we're closely watching to see how the experience is for both the recruiter and the applicants. We take a hands-on approach in supporting our pilot partners and this allows us to gain valuable feedback on the user experience, what they really like and areas we can improve.

Liam Marshall, Training and Support Manger, and Anna Caine, Lead Digital Delivery Manager & Product Owner, attended the Management in Practice Event in Gateshead for practice managers, GPs and commissioners involved in primary care business management.  This event helped us to talk about the changes coming to NHS Jobs and to understand more about the needs of primary care.  We also signed up a number of GP surgeries to become private beta partners.

Whilst we’ve achieved our first release, we continue to work on building the next releases and we’ve been out testing our prototypes for shortlisting, interviews and references with both applicants and recruiters.
