NHS Professionals: Join the virtual frontline

Join the Virtual Frontline as a Clinical Contact Caseworker

NHS Jobs is supporting NHS Professionals' 'Join the Virtual Frontline' campaign to recruit Clinical Contact Caseworkers, to help stop the spread of COVID-19.

The 'Join the Virtual Frontline' campaign has been launched by NHS Professionals to support the NHS and Public Health England in its efforts to recruit 3,000 Clinical Contact Caseworkers as part of the Government’s strategy to recruit a coronavirus (COVID-19) contact tracing workforce.

Home-based Clinical Contact Caseworkers will be responsible for liaising and assessing patients with COVID-19 to help trace people who may have been in contact with them, in order to help track the illness. This crucial role has been developed as part of the Public Health England Contact Tracing Service programme and  will allow candidates to further play their part in defeating the pandemic. This is a fantastic opportunity for registered healthcare professionals who want to lend their skills and expertise to suppress the spread of COVID-19 – all from their own homes.

NHS Jobs is helping to get these critical roles filled faster by placing dedicated links on the NHS Jobs homepage, making it easier for candidates to register, and by promoting the campaign through the NHS Jobs latest news and social media channels.

If you or anyone you know is interested in joining this exciting initiative, please apply today using the Expression of Interest form. You can find the full role Job Description and Person Specification here, which includes working hours, pay rate and working from home requirements.
