Melatonin now available as licensed medicine
Melatonin 3mg tablets (Colonis Pharma Ltd) has now been licensed by the UK Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA).
The drug has therefore been added to the dictionary of medicines and devices (dm+d). Instead of using an Imported or Special melatonin 3mg standard release tablet option, the UK MHRA licensed Melatonin 3mg tablets (Colonis Pharma Ltd) product should be considered for use instead.
