Over 1.5 million NHS employees are now accessing their payslips via ESR

This is an important milestone in our collective efforts to reduce paper and enable NHS employees to have access to their payslip before pay day.

ESR (Electronic Staff Record) is provided by the NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) as part of NHS Workforce Services and is the essential workforce management solution for the NHS in England and Wales, supporting the delivery of national workforce policy and strategy.

ESR provides an integrated hire to retire workforce management solution which NHS employers can use to help with workforce supply, talent management, safety and compliance, retention strategy and improving efficiency.

NHS employees can find their latest and previous payslips and P60s on ESR using ESR Employee Self Service by clicking on the pay date hyperlink in the portal.
