PQS: One day left to claim for your Aspiration payment

Community pharmacy contractors have one day left to claim their Aspiration payment for the Pharmacy Quality Scheme (PQS) as the window for claiming this payment closes tomorrow, Friday 1st November at 11.59pm.

Contractors are required to claim their Aspiration payment via the NHS Business Services Authority’s (NHSBSA's) Manage Your Service (MYS) portal.

For more information and to register for MYS, visit www.nhsbsa.nhs.uk/mys.

There is no requirement to meet the gateway criteria to claim an aspiration payment. However you must ensure you are compliant in each of the four gateway criteria for the February 2020 declaration.

You also need to declare which of the six quality domains you aspire to meet in the February declaration.

And in the February 2020 review, you will be required to meet all of the gateway criteria before you move on to declaring for each quality domain.

Working collaboartively with NHS England and NHS Improvement, the NHSBSA has created a next steps for the Pharmacy Quality Scheme presentation. For more information on claiming an aspiration payment, and to download the presentaion, visit the NHSBSA website.

PSNC has also produced a ‘dates for the diary’ document outlining key dates, which available to download from their website.
