We’re an Arm’s Length Body of the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC), responsible for delivering business services that support the NHS and local health economies. We manage around £39 billion of NHS spend annually providing these services nationally and at scale. Through digitisation, the use of technology and designing around the needs of our customers, we deliver great taxpayer value, providing significant savings for the NHS which can then be reinvested in frontline care.

We are privileged to play a key role in supporting primary care in the NHS. We work with pharmacy, dentistry, ophthalmic and GP providers to support the delivery of their critical services to the NHS.

We provide open, clear and actionable data and insight to high standards of data governance, empowering our customers to make informed decisions.
